Overland Journal and sister company Expeditions West are Long-Term Testing the new Mopar Underground JK Unlimited "Overland"
Overland Journal will be using the JK Overland for several adventures.
Overland Journal, the publication for environmentally conscious worldwide vehicle based expedition and adventure travel has taken delivery of the new Mopar Underground JK Unlimited "Overland" for long-term testing.
In response to the increasingly popular overland segment of travel, Chrysler Jeep has created a concept vehicle using a Jeep JK Rubicon platform, that focuses on self-sufficient remote vehicle supported travel. A product of the Jeep Skunkworks engineering team with support from American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) and ARB, the JK Overland Features include a mild suspension lift, onboard water storage, added protection, a roof top tent and various other conceptual modifications.
Overland Journal will be using the JK Overland for several adventures, and will provide Jeep with feedback and ideas for possible further development of the JK Overland concept.
